Passes and credits
What daycare passes are, how to buy them, where your credit balance shows, and how credits are used and returned.
A pass is a bundle of pre-paid credits — for example, ten days of daycare paid for up front. Passes usually work out cheaper per day than booking casually, and there's no punch card to lose: the portal counts for you.
What a pass looks like
Each pass on the Passes page shows:
- How many credits it includes (one credit typically covers one booking).
- The price.
- A service type, if the pass is tied to one — for example, credits that are only for full-day daycare.
- "Valid for N days", if the pass expires — use the credits within that window.
Your facility decides which passes to offer, so the selection is different from daycare to daycare.
Buying a pass
- Sign in to the portal and go to Passes.
- Find the pass you want and choose Buy.
- Complete the secure checkout. When your payment is confirmed, you'll see "Payment received — your pass will appear here shortly" — the credits land on your account soon after.
- Changed your mind mid-checkout? Back out and you'll see "Checkout cancelled — you haven't been charged." No harm done.
Checking your balance
Your remaining credits show in a few places:
- Home — a Package credits summary, including credits remaining across all your active passes.
- Billing — alongside your invoices and membership status.
- The booking wizard — a badge shows how many package credits you have available before you book.
Using a credit on a booking
- Start a booking as usual (see Booking a day).
- If you have credits available, the booking wizard shows a "Use a package credit for this booking" checkbox — tick it.
- If a valid credit matches the service you're booking, it's applied to the request automatically, and the confirmation notes that a package credit was used.
Cancellations and credits
If you cancel a booking that used a credit and the facility approves the cancellation, the credit goes back onto your pass. See Cancelling a booking.
Memberships
Some facilities offer memberships instead of (or as well as) passes. If you have one, the booking wizard shows that membership pricing applies and the lower price is used automatically — no codes, no ticking boxes.
