Signing in to the portal
No password needed — the WagDay customer portal signs you in with a link emailed to you. What to do if the email doesn't arrive.
Your customer portal doesn't use a password. Instead, you sign in with a magic link sent to your email — the same email address the daycare has on file for you.
How to sign in
- Open the portal link your daycare gave you (check their welcome email, their website, or a recent booking confirmation).
- Enter the email address you gave the daycare.
- Tap Send sign-in link.
- Open the email and tap the link — you're in.
Two things about that link: it expires after 15 minutes, and it works once only. If it's lapsed or already been tapped, request a fresh one — the portal will tell you "this sign-in link has expired or was already used" if that's the problem.
Once you're in, you stay signed in on that device for 24 hours at a stretch. After that the portal asks you to sign in again — same drill, fresh link.
That's it. No password to forget, no account to create. If the daycare has your email, you already have access.
Signing in on the mobile app
The WagDay mobile app does it slightly differently: instead of a link, it emails you a 6-digit code to type into the app. The code expires after 10 minutes and works once only — if it lapses, request a new one from the app's sign-in screen. The WagDay app has more on getting set up.
If the email doesn't arrive
- Check spam and junk folders — sign-in emails sometimes land there, especially the first time.
- Check you used the right email address. If you gave the daycare a different email when you enrolled (work vs personal is the usual culprit), the link goes there instead.
- Wait a minute and resend. You can request as many fresh links as you need — just remember each one works once, within 15 minutes of being sent.
- Has the daycare changed your email address? If they've updated it on your record, sign-in emails go to the new address — and you'll be signed out of the portal and the app until you sign in again with it.
- Still stuck? Ask the daycare to confirm which email address is on your customer record — they can fix a typo in seconds. If they've archived your record, sign-in emails stop arriving altogether; only they can bring it back.
Signing in on a new device
Just repeat the steps on the new device. Each device gets its own sign-in, and signing in somewhere new doesn't sign you out anywhere else.
Signing out
Use Sign out at the top of the portal. It's a good idea on shared computers, but on your own phone there's no need — staying signed in makes booking next time a ten-second job.
