Where to enter a voucher code, what happens when it applies, and what to check if a code doesn't work.
Got a code from your facility? Here's how to use it.
Using a code
When you book. On the booking step of a new booking, type the code into Voucher code (optional) before you choose Review price. The price review shows the total before the voucher. The portal checks the code as soon as the booking is made and takes the discount off before you pay. If the code covers the whole booking, there is nothing to pay. If the code can't be used, the portal tells you why before any payment, so you can try another code or carry on and pay without it.
On a booking you've already made:
- Sign in to the portal, go to Bookings and open the booking.
- Type the code into Voucher code and choose Apply.
- The discount and your new balance show straight away, and the booking notes the voucher as applied.
A couple of things to know:
- Apply before you pay. A code can't be added after a deposit or payment has gone through, once the booking has been invoiced, or to a cancelled booking.
- The code must be valid when you book. A code only works on bookings made while it is valid. It can't be added to a booking you made before the code was issued, or after it expired.
- One voucher per booking. Once a code is applied, a different code can't be added to the same booking. Applying the same code twice is fine — it just confirms the one you already have.
Already paid and only just got a code? Ask the facility. They can refund and cancel the booking under their refund policy, then make a new booking with the code applied, and you pay any balance then.
If a code doesn't work
The portal will tell you if the code is invalid, expired, or has reached its usage limit. Codes are created and managed by your facility, so if one fails:
- Check the spelling — codes are easy to mistype.
- Check any expiry date or conditions that came with the offer.
- Still stuck? Ask the facility — they can see exactly why the code won't apply.
To keep codes safe from guessing, the portal checks only a few codes for you in any 15 minutes. If you reach the limit, wait, then try again, or ask the facility.
