Your account, data and privacy
Your email is your identity. Sign out, download your data, check message history and manage notification preferences.
Everything here lives under Account in the portal — it's where you manage your sign-in, your data and how the facility contacts you.
Your email is your identity
There's no password to remember — your email address is your account, and each sign-in is confirmed with a fresh link or code sent to that address. That's why keeping access to your email matters: anyone who can read your email can sign in as you. New to the portal? Signing in to the portal walks through it.
Signing out
The Account page shows who you're signed in as and which facility you're connected to, with a Sign out button. On your own phone or computer you can stay signed in — but on a shared or borrowed device, always sign out when you're done so the next person can't see your bookings or your dog's details.
Downloading your data
You can request a copy of the personal data the facility holds about you and your pets.
- Go to Account and find Download your data.
- Choose Request a data export.
- The status moves from Queued to Preparing your data… — the page checks for progress by itself, so you can leave it open.
- When it says Ready to download, grab your file.
Download links expire after a while (the status will show Expired — request a new export). That's deliberate, so an old link sitting in your email can't be used later. Just request a fresh export any time — there's no penalty for asking twice.
Message history: the first place to check for a "missing" email
Message history lists every email and text the facility has sent you — booking confirmations, reminders, receipts — each with its date and delivery status.
Expecting an email that never arrived? Check here first:
- If it's listed as sent, it left the facility's system — check your spam folder.
- If it's not listed, the message may not have been generated yet — or your notification preferences have that type switched off.
Notification preferences
The Notification preferences card on the Account page lets you choose how the facility contacts you — SMS, email updates, and marketing each have their own switch. Notifications explains what each one controls.
